E-Mail Instructions — Outlook 2013

1. Click File -> “Add Account.”











2. Select “Manual setup or additional server types,” and click “Next.”






















3. Select “POP or IMAP” and click “Next.”






















4. Enter the following information under “POP and IMAP Account Settings.”

User Information
Your Name: This is the name that will display in your recipients’ Inbox as the Sender. (Typically your first and last name.)
Email Address: The e-mail address for which you are creating an account.


Server Information
Account Type: IMAP
Incoming Mail Server: mail.fastersolutions.com
Outgoing Mail Server: mail.fastersolutions.com


Logon Information
User Name: Your FULL e-mail address
Password: Your e-mail account password, provided by Faster Solutions


Once these settings have been entered, clicked More Settings…
























5. Under the “Outgoing Server” tab, enter the following information:

  • Check the “My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication” checkbox
  • Select the “Log on using” radio button
  • Username: Your FULL e-mail address
  • Password: The same password you entered on the previous screen
  • Remember Password: Check
  • Require Secure Password Authentication: Uncheck























6. Under the “Advanced” tab, enter the following information:

  • Incoming Server (IMAP): 143
  • Use the following type of encrypted connection: None
  • Outgoing Server (SMTP): 587
  • Use the following type of encrypted connection: None



7. Click “OK,” then “Next” on the “Add Account” screen to test your account settings. You’re all set!
